Fly on the Carrera Digital 132, no problem for us
When upgrading to digital, we only use the Carrera Digital 132 decoder. For most models the cockpit needs to be replaced.
Up on request, we can also install lights. The lighting functions the same as the original Carrera lighting, including the brake light. Unless otherwise specified, we use xenon LEDs for modern cars and warm white LEDs for classic cars. If you require other versions, please indicate this in the comments field at the end of your order. The lights will be equipped with the same connectors as the original Carrera lighting. Additional headlights can be ordered separately, if feasible.

Lights for use on analoge tracks
For each analog car we offer also our high quality OVERDRIVE permanent lightkits. Normally we use for modern cars LEDs with xenon effect and for classic cars warm white LEDs.
Additional headlights can be ordered separately, if feasible.
Tuning Fly generell
trued Ortmann tires
The rear axle is fitted with perfectly fitting Ortmann tires, and the entire axle is then tued flat at the RSM. This is the minimum tuning to ensure the car is fun to drive.
Exchange cockpit
By replacing the original cockpit with a 2D photo inlet, weight can be saved and the center of gravity lowered without any major visual compromises.
Running in the motor
We run the motor in at low voltage for several hours without load. This allows the speed to be increased by up to 10%. The rule here is: the lower the quality of the motor (e.g., Fly Standard), the more effective the run-in process will be.
Running in the slotcar
The motor and transmission are slowly run in at low voltage. The axle is then cleaned, the transmission is greased, and the bearings are oiled.
Tuning Fly Trucks
Tuningset Expert Fly Truck
The trucks are truly impressive, but only moderately fun. With the tuning set expert, however, they become a wonderfully drifting slot car. The tuning set consists of: trued Ortmann tires for sufficient grip, thinner Zero Grip front tires, and a Scaleauto Racing guide keel to prevent the truck from driving straight through every corner entry. The motor is also fixed. The magnet is removed, and the chassis is weighted accordingly.
Tuningset Expert II Fly Truck
The original motor has significantly more power than the standard Fly engine. Unfortunately, the rear axle is the same as in the standard Fly cars. The lifespan of the axle gear can therefore be very short. In Tuning Set 2, we therefore replace the original axle with a Slot.it axle with bearings and gears.
Tuningset Power Fly Truck
If you want to go really fast, we swap the motor for a 25000 rpm SRP motor with plenty of torque. Otherwise, all parts are replaced as with the Expert II Fly Truck set. The magnet stays in place in this case.
Tuning Fly Classic cars
Tuningset Expert Fly Classic
The Expert Tuning Set transforms the Fly Slotcar into a finely controlled slotcar with a realistic driving range. The tuning set consists of a Slot.it rear axle with bearings and gears, trued Ortmann tires, Zero Gripp front tires, an optimized front axle, and a Scaleauto Racing guide keel. The magnets are removed and the chassis is weighted accordingly.
Tuningset Power Fly Classic
If we want it to go really fast, we need a faster motor. 25,000 rpm is perfectly sufficient for most tracks. Apart from installing the faster motor, we perform all the tuning steps as with the Expert set. The magnet remains installed in this case, and the landing gear is only additionally leaded if necessary.
Tuning Fly 911er
Tuningset Drift Fly 911
The Drift tuning set turns your Fly 911 or 934 into a real Porsche with realistic driving limits. The original gearbox is often out of round, so the entire axle unit is replaced with Slot.it components. The original rims are then glued on and the axle with the Ortmann tires is trued flat. The rear magnet is removed and a new one is placed behind the front axle. This is necessary because the engine on the Fly Porsche is behind the rear axle and the car jumps out of the slot at the front every time you accelerate. The front axle is also fitted with plain bearings and the height is correctly adjusted. The Scaleauto Racing guide keel then ensures ideal guidance in the slot.
Tuningset Power Fly 911
With a 25,000 rpm motor, the Porsche becomes a turbo. Apart from installing the faster engine, we perform all the tuning measures as with the Drift Fly 911 set. The magnet remains installed in this case, and the chassis is only additionally leaded if necessary.
